I recently purchased three barstools for my new breakfast bar from Melbourne carpenter, Lewis Dean Carpentry. They were custom made from recycled Victorian Ash and they are gorgeous! I count myself lucky to have stumbled across Dean’s stall at the Rose Street Markets on a recent trip to Melbourne. The stools are real feature pieces in my kitchen.
During our last Reno we invested in some bright yellow non replica Thonet stools and we LOVE them. Because of the quality we will be able to repaint/strip as our taste changes. But for now we still like the yellow with concrete/white benches!
