If there’s one brand or shop that still gets me as excited today as it did when I was 18, it’s IKEA. It’s also a rare shop I grew up with in the UK which is exactly the same here in Australia and there’s something comforting and nostalgic about that. I rarely need much for my home these days but I can always find something awesome at IKEA and hey, if I’m not going to buy it, best I share it with my fellow interiors addicts! So, here are my most recent fab finds from the Swedish mega store! and I’ll be back with more every week.
The TRÄDGRÄNSEN wall decoration, set of 2, ceramic/stones beige caught my eye and they’re a great buy at $29! The organic, tactile objects were designed by Hanna Grann Dalrot and you could hang them together, alone or with other art, or use them on a table instead. Options!

The BAGGBODA side table, light yellow, 71×50 cm, appeared in IKEA’s 1971 catalogue and has been brought back for 2024. An example of a simple and stylish shape given new life in the Nytillverkad collection, it’s $119 and also available in white.
This gorgeous RÄFFELBJÖRK vase, designed by Lisa Hilland, is inspired by rainbows and has a flowingly playful shape and a shimmering finish. Put your favourite flowers in it or enjoy it as a beautiful glass sculpture. Available in 20cm and 12cm sizes. $25 or $49.
The NYSJÖN laundry cabinet ($199) is a clever and stylish design. You could even encourage your kids to practice their shots while sorting laundry! The door can even be mounted to open from the left or the right. 40 x 190cm.
Make a statement on your wall for under $100. The HÄNGALM hanging tapestry is 85 x 60cm. The handmade feel with a lovely texture and fine details creates a warm look. If you’re nervous of hanging something heavy in a child’s room, here’s a great solution!
Another budget art option this week, the PJÄTTERYD picture is 70×50 cm and only $29. We think it looks a lot more expensive. Printed on canvas and wrapped around a deep frame.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s picks! Check out some previous IKEA picks below.
