Australian brand Nuage Interiors is trying to revolutionise the homewares industry with sophisticated and practical furniture designed for both children and adults. Their stylish pieces seamlessly blend form and function.

Founded in 2021 by husband and wife Fares Al-Sarawi and Najah Baroudi, Nuage Interiors was born out of a desire to fill a significant gap in the market for chic, family-friendly furniture. As parents-to-be, Najah and Fares sought to curate a collection that satisfies both aesthetic preferences and practical needs. They noticed that many children’s items, with their bold and vibrant designs, often disrupted the overall home aesthetic.
“Rather than compromising, we provide families with the best of both worlds. Each product is designed with equal parts comfort, style and function in mind. By taking the time to think about materials and the wants and needs behind each product, a sense of sophistication emerges,” Najah shared.
A standout piece from a recent collection was the Jolié Rocker and Ottoman (above). This luxurious piece features soft boucle-blend fabric and offers the choice of beechwood rockers or straight cone legs. Inspired by the positive reaction to this piece, they’ve expanded their furniture collection. The latest additions include elegant coffee tables, an inviting boucle blend fabric sofa and ottoman, a selection of mirrors, natural burl wood plinths as well as bed heads and side tables.
