Coco Republic have announced a limited edition collaboration with Australian designer Rachel Donath, bringing together two iconic voices in contemporary Australian design. This distinctive collection celebrates the art of curation, showcasing bold, sculptural pieces inspired by the raw elegance of mountainous and fjord landscapes.

A true creative partnership
The collaboration reflects a genuine partnership, with Coco Republic and Rachel working closely together from inspiration and concepts through to execution of the finished designs. The result is a collection that contrasts Rachel’s signature feminine aesthetic with a distinctly masculine energy, balancing strength and refinement across each piece.
The collection’s overarching theme is one of ‘considered discovery’ – furniture that feels collected and layered over time, like treasured finds from a sophisticated, design-led interior. The pieces are built to function beautifully while sparking curiosity and delight in the home.
Hailey Fulton, head of product at Coco Republic, said: “We wanted to create a curated selection of furniture that felt uniquely found – the same way you would curate an antique art or furniture collection. The collection is full of intriguing objects that work with your life in interesting ways.”

Materials, details and influence
Coco Republic x Rachel Donath showcases a careful selection of materials including moody timbers in tobacco hues, bright natural oak and oil-rubbed brass complemented with genuine textiles like leather and Mongolian sheepskin. With nods to mid-century modern design and elements of brutalist and constructivist influence, this collection balances sculptural form with everyday function.
Among the highlights are the Omaha Book Console, a versatile statement piece perfect for displaying books or records with style, and the Coronet Chaise, an architectural showstopper that brings a unique silhouette and commanding presence to any space.
Rachel said: “To have the opportunity to creatively join forces with Coco Republic has been a dream come true. I have been able to lean into their enormous depth of knowledge around materiality, form and fabrication and create pieces that bring the worlds of both brands together.”
The collection is designed to appeal to a broad audience, offering pieces that can act as the founding centrepiece of a room or as complementary accents to an existing space. Each item is produced in limited quantities, emphasising the exclusivity and collectable nature of the range.
The Coco Republic x Rachel Donath collection launches online and in Coco Republic showrooms today (2 October 2025), with each piece available in limited quantities.
