Part of their 50-year celebrations, iconic Australian linen house Sheridan has expanded its range to include a variety of furniture and lifestyle products plus several ‘Sheridan Studio’ concept stores throughout the country.
“We are proud to announce the Sheridan Studio retail concept which sees Sheridan expand our home lifestyle range. We have created a unique collection of homewares and Australian-made furniture pieces that are curated and uniquely crafted exclusive to Sheridan. These items are available to purchase at our new stores as well as online,” says group general manager Paul Gould.
The Sheridan Studio concept combines the brand’s existing soft furnishing and textile ranges with the new lifestyle offering inside much larger retail spaces. In what promises to be a one-stop interior shop, you’ll be able to find beds and other furniture, wall art, rugs, bathroom accessories, coffee table books, wallpaper and other home décor.
“The concept was to create a full lifestyle offering, featuring beautiful, quality, curated pieces from around the world to complement our extensive homewares range. Sheridan Studio was created to appeal to a broader audience. We wanted to offer our existing customers more, whilst also introducing new customers to the brand,” says general manager of design Jo Jaggs.
As for her favourite pieces from the new collection, Jo is particularly fond of the wall art. “All our textile designs from our bedding and accessories are created by hand in Sydney in our design studio and some of these prints were re-interpreted and made into unique wall art,” says Jo.
“Also, our extensive collection of throws and cushions are superbly soft and versatile. The range was inspired by a desire to bring our ‘beautiful Australian living’ vision throughout the entire home, as we continue to look to our unique Australian landscape for inspiration.”
The Sheridan Studio concept is currently found at Melbourne’s Highpoint, Sydney’s Belrose and Queensland’s Indoorpilly but will roll out nationally across Australia in 2017.
