Award-winning landscape design studio Mint Design has announced the launch of its first digital Planting Guides — affordable downloadable resources that share the plant palettes and layered schemes behind two of the studio’s most loved gardens.

As one of Australia’s leading landscape design practices, Mint is frequently asked about the details behind their projects — from plant names to how to achieve the same layered look at home. While the team has always shared advice through social media, they recognised that not everyone is ready for, or in need of, a full landscape design service. For many, the greatest impact comes simply from rethinking their planting.
“We’re often asked ‘What’s that plant?’ or ‘Could this scheme work in my garden?’,” said Darin Bradbury, director of Mint Design. “These guides are our way of answering those questions more fully. They allow people to access our design knowledge in a practical, affordable way — without having to take on a complete garden redesign.”

Each Planting Guide, priced at $69 and $89, provides an in-depth look at the plants, combinations and design intent used in two of Mint’s signature projects, one of which won a major award. With plant lists, placement advice and layered planting schemes, the guides are designed to help homeowners and garden enthusiasts create a planting palette that feels curated, not random.
The launch builds on a milestone year for Mint Design, with its Aurum project recently awarded a prestigious DNA Paris Design Award. The new Planting Guides continue this momentum by opening up the studio’s expertise to a wider audience and offering a practical entry point for those seeking design-led inspiration.
