I was a busy bee this holiday season, working away behind the scenes on the launch of our second site, Reno Addict, going live early next month. I am so excited to share it with you!
I know many of you might have jumped to the conclusion that my next site would be Baby Addict (if I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that!) but no, I’m not about to become a mummy blogger. I am going to be a mum come April, but I won’t be writing about my personal life any more than usual (okay, maybe that isn’t strictly true, we shall see!).
Reno Addict will be much like Interiors Addict in that it will feature regular news, interviews and real life projects to inspire you, whether you’re looking to rip out and replace your bathroom, completely renovate your existing home, flip a property for profit, make over your yard, tart up your deck, build a project home or a granny flat in the back yard, and anything in between, from the smallest jobs to the biggest projects. All our advice will be shared in an accessible way. As with Interiors Addict, we’ll be keeping renos real!
I won’t pretend I’m as much of a reno enthusiast as I am an interiors addict, which is why I have employed the talents of some excellent (if I don’t say so myself) Resident Experts who I’m very proud to have on board. These five celebrity ambassadors will be revealed on launch day.
As well as writing for us, our Resident Experts will also be available to answer your reader questions and offer advice.
We’re also delighted to have Freedom Kitchens and Feast Watson on board as our foundation advertisers and grateful for their support of our new venture. Thanks to the growth of the business and her great work as editorial assistant, Olivia Shead has been promoted to staff writer and is coming on board as a full-timeย member of the team.
If you’d like to be first to know when the site launches, sign up to the Reno Addict mailing list. I’d also love to hear what sort of information and advice you’d be keen to hear, so please comment below.
–Do you have a reno horror story? Would you like some advice from our band of experts? Equally, if you have a reno you’re super proud of, we’d love to share the inspiration with our readers.ย Please email your photos to [email protected].ย

Have House rules ever thought out the box to renovate. There are lots of shows renovating houses and nowadays with everyone doing their own homes it all gets a bit the same viewing.
I have watched other channels and overseas TV where they have tackled other more adventurous projects such as Public houses, child care centres, etc. I have never seen a dance studio. That’s my plug as if you hadn’t guessed. You have no idea how hard it is to come up with practical designs and finishes on a budget if you are a new small studio. All our time and efforts are put into running the studio and have no time or finances to renovate and make it more desirable studio. So would house rules be interested in such a project, a challenge indeed for your team.
