Satara’s Autumn Winter 2025 collection here; their biggest release yet with a focus on relaxed luxury. It’s chock full of beautiful pieces, but today I’m highlighting a few personal favourites. The Australian furniture and homewares brand, a long time favourite of interior designers and stylists, is known for its high quality, hand crafted, indoor and outdoor furniture and homewares, inspired by natural materials and global trends.
Freya Swivel Lounge Chair (Boucle Milk/Camel)
Modern yet timeless, Freya is the perfect spot to unwind. Upholstered in soft, durable fabric, she features a curved design that hugs you. how could you not relax? The hidden swivel base adds both flexibility and a playful element, with a smooth 360-degree movement.
This elegant contemporary sofa comes in both a single base and modular version to suit all living rooms. It’s ultra comfortable but its clean lines offer a sophisticated silhouette.
Remi Lounge Chair (Boucle Milk)
Like Freya (above) this statement chair is made for relaxation, with its curbed backrest and plush seat. The sleek black legs give this piece a modern edge.
Ryder Swivel Chair (Warwick Copeland Birch)
If you’ve been looking for the perfect reading nook chair, we’ve found it! Ryder, a side table and a floor lamp would transform an unused corner of a living or bedroom into the ultimate cosy spot to curl up and read, and even better, this chair swivels too.
Crafted from premium marble, the Mesa side table from New Zealand brand United Strangers (new to the Satara stable) is luxurious but understated at the same time. The smooth, polished surface of the marble contrasts beautifully with the tactile grooves, making it not only a functional piece but a conversation starter. And it’s ethically sourced too.
This beautiful pair of tables with intricate carved detailing are a beautiful way to add texture, interest and warmth to your space, as well as the perfect place for a coffee or glass of wine. They’re lightweight and easy to move around and just as well because I can think of a multitude of uses and spots for this pair; both functional and decorative.
Satara was inspired by a charming rest-camp of the same name in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Husband and wife Andrew and Colleen Johnston founded the business 18 years ago and it came to symbolise their travel-inspired ethos, authentic interiors and skilled craftsmanship. Travel remains an integral part of their lives, challenging them, fuelling their business and broadening their horizons with each new discovery and experience.
Sorry, this competition has now closed.
