Kmart Australia’s 2019 Inspired Living range hits shop floors at the end of this month and it’s built around three key trends – Timeless, Natural and Urban. The on-trend range spans bedding, furniture, interior and outdoor decor, dining, kitchen and home storage and prices start from just $8! In other words, it’s what we’ve come to expect from the reliable retailer!
“We’ve been on a real journey with our customers and each year we learn more about their taste levels and the items that make everyday living brighter in the home. We try to apply these learnings to our product ranging decisions and this season, we think we have created a range that really speaks to this, so we’re excited to see it finally come to life,” says Kmart Australia’s general manager of general merchandise, Callum Smith.
The Timeless trend centres around a serene colour palette of dusty pastels paired with blonde woods and gold accents. Standout products include the Lilac Velvet Occasional Chair ($59), the Timeless Console Table ($49), the Timeless Drinks Trolley ($45), the Faux Devore Cow Hide ($45) and the Alice Round Cushion in gold ($8).
As the name suggests, the Natural trend is filled with jute, seagrass, mixed woods and rich earthy tones – think sage green, terracotta and golden yellow. Highlight products include the Eden Cushion ($12), the Timber Occasional Chair ($49), the Woven Ottoman ($29) and a lovely Green Vase ($7).
The Urban trend draws on apartment living for inspiration with black a key accent though there’s a fabulous pop of lilac too (a nod to the 2018 Pantone colour of the year Ultra Violet). Highlight products include the Lana Cushion in lilac ($8), the Grey Velvet Occasional Chair ($49) and the Large Oval Mirror ($39) that I suspect will be sold out in no time given how on-trend and affordable it is.
