An immersive, design-led space celebrating craftsmanship, materiality and local creativity, Australian design house ABI Interiors have thrown open the doors to their highly anticipated Sydney showroom – a 600sqm design playground in the heart of Marrickville’s creative precinct. More than just a showroom, it’s an immersive destination where inspiration lives in every surface, texture and detail.

Designed to celebrate materiality, craftsmanship and local talent, including the likes of Tom Fereday amongst other creatives, the space invites visitors to slow down, connect with design on a sensory level, and experience ABI’s ethos of elevated everyday living.
“This is a space to explore, create and dream,” says Luli Farrell, co-founder at ABI Interiors. “We wanted the energy of Marrickville’s creative community to flow through every detail, and for people to feel instantly at home. The warmth, the tactility, the bold design moments; it’s a reflection of who we are as a brand.”

Industrial roots, reimagined
The building’s original character is honoured with exposed raw materials and industrial textures, balanced with ABI’s signature aesthetic and subtle Japanese influences – think warm timbers, and calm, light-filled spaces.
A showroom in two acts
- The Design Workshop – anchored by a 10-metre material library overflowing with ABI’s product range, finish samples, fabrics and inspiration points for moodboarding, consultations and creative play.
- The main showroom floor – curated in-situ vignettes showcasing kitchen, bathroom and laundry settings, complete with a relaxed central lounge perfect for events, workshops and design sessions.
Custom-crafted design elements by local artisans add another layer of personality and exclusivity, underscoring ABI’s belief that considered details create enduring spaces.

Mindful design, built to last
Sustainable building practices, low-impact materials and energy-efficient lighting anchor the showroom in ABI’s commitment to responsible design. From water-saving tapware to raw, uncoated finishes, every product is engineered for longevity and performance.
“For us, this isn’t just about showcasing products,” says Luli. “It’s about building a hub for the design community; a place where ideas spark, collaborations begin, and the beauty of timeless design can be experienced firsthand.”
The Sydney showroom showcases ABI Interiors’ growing portfolio of showrooms in the Gold Coast, Melbourne, London and Auckland, with exciting plans for international expansion later this year.

Founded in 2016 in Queensland, ABI Interiors began with a simple yet powerful vision: to make high-quality kitchen and bathroom fixtures more accessible. What started as a small family business has since grown into a globally recognised brand, offering a comprehensive range of products for both residential and commercial spaces.
Despite this growth, ABI has remained true to its roots — preserving the values, close-knit culture, and personal approach that defined it from the beginning. With a commitment to thoughtful and timeless design, they provide a complete solution that includes tapware, vanities, sinks, showers, hardware, tiles, flooring, and more — empowering homeowners and professionals to create cohesive and inspiring interiors.
