The owners of this home wanted their dark and dated bathrooms refreshed and employed interior designer Pip Brennan to help them achieve something light and bright and with soft colour.

Keeping the layouts the same to save money, everything else was ripped out and redone.
“The downstairs bathroom incorporates the pink and white tiles with a timber vanity creating a more warm textural feel with an oversized feature mirror and feature pendants in the corner from Beacon Lighting,” said Pip, of Studio Brennan. “The pink tiles act as a border only, moving up the wall about 300mm, but creating a big impact for the small space.”

The upstairs bathroom features soft sage and white wall tiles, with marble-look flooring. “The vanity wall is tiled in half sage and half white creating a feature but also being different to other bathrooms just doing the same tile on all walls. The plain vanity painted in a sage finish creates a fun look with the white wave Lo & Co handles. The fluted shower glass panel gives extra privacy but also adds a little texture to the bathroom, rather than clear glass.”

Pip’s favourite feature is the tile layout in the pink toned bathroom downstairs. “I would say the fluted glass in the other bathroom is another fave! I love how its texture adds another design feature to the space.”
