Interiors and soft furnishings trade fair DECORATION + DESIGN, will return to the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour from 1-3 February 2012. It will bring together more than 100 suppliers from Australia and the world.
This yearβs International Industry Seminar Series is a must-see. Headlining will be US interior designer to the stars Martyn Lawrence Bullard, along with Suzanne TrocmΓ© (UK), Curator of the London Design Festival. Local speakers include style authority Melinda Ashton Turner, interior designers Chelsea Hing and Sarah Davison, and lighting designer Petra Kleegraefe.
Genty Marshall, Decoration + Designβs resident trend forecaster, will also join the series, giving a seminar called The Collector, The Creator and The Connoisseur. Based on her Design Futures installation area at Decoration + Design, Gentyβs talk will look at three distinctive ways of relating to design through these personalities and demonstrate some of the trends weβll be seeing in 2012.
