Contemporary Australian tapware brand Meir, and Nood Co, creators of bespoke coloured concrete basins, have announced the Meir X Nood Co. Alchemy series; a new design-led collection that brings together metal and concrete in unexpected harmony.

The collection combines Meir’s precision-engineered tapware with Nood Co.’s tactile concrete forms to create unique tapware pieces, celebrating contrast over conformity. Its launch marks a strategic move by Meir into a first-of-its-kind collaborative product in the building and renovation market, uniting two leading Australian brands for homeowners, designers, architects and builders.
Inspired by the transformative notion of alchemy, the collection explores the fusion of metal and concrete; light with shadow, structure with texture, where each material enhances the other.
“What we love about this combination of materials is that the concrete has such a raw earthy texture. Juxtaposed with that engineered smoothness of metal, they’re incredibly tactile,” says interior designer Ruby Shields of Studio Shields.

The Meir X Nood Co. Alchemy series features 12 considered colour pairings across three product types and will be officially available for purchase from late this month (March 2026).
The collaboration pushes the boundaries of what traditional building materials can achieve. “Our business has always been about design first and creation second. Combining concrete and metal allows us to create pieces that meet opposites and invite people to appreciate details,” says Chris Walker, director of Nood Co.
“Most people wouldn’t be able to notice half a millimetre. That’s the level we work in; that’s the world behind the scenes where we want things to work perfectly, and forever, says Rick Bazerghi, founder and CEO of Meir.
