Happy 6-month blogoversary to ME!

I’m so excited to be celebrating 6 months of Interiors Addict today! I started this blog as a way of sharing the homewares and interiors photos I’d snap with my phone and post to Twitter, but keeping them in one place where I could go back and refer to them. I never really thought as far ahead as strangers being interested in what I had to share but now thousands of you check it out each month! How cool is that?! (Still can’t quite believe it). I’m even more delighted and flattered that some of Australia’s most renowned stylists (Glen Proebstel, Jason Grant, Sibella Court and Kirsten Bookallil to name just a few) have shared their time and insights with me in interviews and that’s become most people’s favourite part of the blog. I guess in hindsight, this is the perfect way for a journalist like me to combine my passion for interiors with my love of interviewing interesting people and writing profile pieces. I feel incredibly lucky to have accidentally found myself a hugely rewarding and enjoyable hobby and the best bit has been all the amazing, talented, generous and downright lovely people I’ve met! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my blog (interviewee or reader) so far. I hope you keep enjoying the read for years to come! Jen x
