The 1000th post giveaway with a $2000 prize pack for one lucky interiors addict!

By Jen Bishop •

FacebookPinWhatsAppEmailTweet

Can you believe I’ve posted 1000 times (well, a few more than now, actually!)? I would say I can’t, but it’s not all that surprising to me! Nonetheless, I thought what a great excuse for the best giveaway I’ve ever done, and one that’s full of amazing prizes I know interiors addict readers will love! One lucky reader will win EVERYTHING and all you have to do is answer one question. The best answer will be judged by Belle magazine’s interior design editor Steve Cordony and interior designer Darren Palmer. So here’s what’s up for grabs, in no particular order (it keeps going and going)…

An A0-size limited edition signed print of Andrew O’Brien’s Pink, Turquoise on Ultramarine Ground, as seen on the cover of a recent Real Living magazine

A timber outdoor setting from Freedom

A multi-coloured ikat canvas from Urban Road

A $100 voucher from Xavier & Me, which you might spend on their new cushions

A limited edition scarf from Bay & Fyfe

A saffron crochet throw from AURA by Tracie Ellis

A Waylande Gregory ceramic box from Becker Minty

A halo shower head from Reece

A pair of white pillow cases with monograms of your choice from Whiteport

A premium flameless candle trio from Enjoy Lighting Australia

A cushion from cloth fabric

A $100 voucher to spend on design-your-own flatpack furniture from Evolvex

A deluxe e-staging package from SILK Home Staging & Styling

To enter, simply answer the question: Why do you love decorating and styling your home?

Email your answer by 5pm on Thursday 13 September 2012. One winner, who will receive everything, will be picked from a shortlist by Steve and Darren and the winner announced next week.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PRIZE SPONSORS!

@smartstoneaustralia's stunning Calacatta Viola sintered stone surface features throughout, making a bold statement while being durable enough to be used in the busiest areas.

Inspired by Puglia, Pino's (named after the owner's father) in Cronulla has a real seaside vibe. The Smartstone was also chosen for the outdoor tables due to its UV stability.

"With a keen eye for design, they wanted their main bathroom to feel calm, spa-like and elevated with more storage, better layout, and soft, layered textures in a neutral palette. Lighting was another big focus, with the goal of creating a space that felt luxurious enough to unwind in, preferably with a glass of champagne in the bath.”

Is it a yay or a nay for you?

The @thermomix_au TM7 launch in Sydney yesterday w The @thermomix_au TM7 launch in Sydney yesterday was a real treat. Such an exciting and sleek looking upgrade to my favourite kitchen machine!

The new look speaks for itself and, as usual, the engineering is impressive. Here's the biggest changes that stood out to me:

1. It's SO quiet and in fact SILENT up to a certain speed
2. It has a much bigger 10 inch screen
3. A new insulated, cool to touch bowl (the inner metal bowl detaches to wash)
4. A gorgeous new matte black design with fluted and herringbone details and made of 30% recycled materials 👏🏼

Enjoyed a beautiful lunch all prepared, naturally, in the Thermomix! Was great to meet @mise_en_place_aus in real life as well as special guest dessert queen @kirstentibballs and catch up with the lovely Thermomix team.

Tag a friend who'll be coveting the TM7! It's available from next week!

We're so in love with this reno by @jdzdesigns_ 😍😍😍

It's a remodel of a previously dark and pokey extension to a Victorian Gothic home. It's now an open plan dream, and the transition from old to new is beautifully done with impressive black steel doors.

Head to the blog via link in bio/stories for the full story and tour.

It needs to be tranquil so that I can relax. It needs to welcome my friends and family and it needs to be fun and lively so I can entertain. Because home is the place where my children live and laugh, discover and grow. I want it to be a beautiful place where they create lifelong memories of happy times. The paint colours and cushions and art on the wall all help to create an atmosphere of peace and harmony while the people who populate the space take on board those feelings and give the place it’s heart.
