Creating a luxe look for less seems to be getting easier every season, particularly when stores like Target keep delivering designer-look homewares without the price tag to match. The latest range of affordable homewares from Target Home draws on one of the strongest interior trends of the past year – texture – and it’s quite a treat.
“We are delighted to introduce our latest homewares range – helping to bring family together and focus on the importance of a relaxed lifestyle,” says Target’s head of design for hardgoods, Emma Duxbury-Thompson of the range of bedroom, kitchen, living and bathroom wares.
Inspired by the Australian landscape (native botanical motifs feature), artisanal textured finishes abound (think wicker and woven materials) for a rustic, handmade feel. “It’s a cosy collection that will have Australians feeling right at home and with on-trend designs and quality pieces for every room, it’s now even easier – and more affordable – to create a fabulously fashionable look this season,” says Emma.
Amidst all the texture is a delicate, feminine colour palette featuring lilac, dusty pink and cream. Pops of charcoal, gold detailing and delicate trims round out the mix. I’ve already got my eye on the metallic bee pictured below and at $8 how could you go wrong! It’s perfect for a styled bookshelf vignette.
Available in store and online now.
