Sydney small business Minosa Design have topped off the year with yet another award to add to their collection; this time for best international project at the UK’s Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards 2014.
They won with their Dover Heights kitchen and bathroom project by Darren Genner and Simona Castagna.
The judges said: “It ticked all the boxes for creativity and bold design. These spaces created by the team at Minosa are incredibly bold and challenge what we feel is normal, the integration of space makes them worthy recipients of this prestige award.”
“We are every excited and amazed to have our work acknowledged outside of Australia,” Darren says. “This was a unique project created for very special clients. Both Simona and I are extremely appreciative of this award and to the clients for following through with Minosa’s creative.”
The awards are run by UK trade magazine Designer Kitchen & Bathroom. Held at the exclusive Thames riverside pop-up events venue Supernova in London’s Embankment Gardens, this year’s event was hosted by British television and radio presenter Georgie Thompson and attended by 400 of the UK kitchen and bathroom industry’s senior figures.
