Kip & Co + Jessica Rowe design beautiful cushion for R U OK? Day

In an effort to help raise awareness for R U OK? Day (10 September), boutique bedding company Kip & Co have partnered with renowned journalist, author, mental health advocate and mum of two, Jessica Rowe, to create a limited edition cushion design.

All profits from the sale of the cushion will go towards supporting suicide prevention charity R U OK?. And if you needed any other reason to buy one, the cushion is colourful, bold and bang on trend!

Jessica, like the team at Kip & Co, are big believers in colour therapy and its power to influence human emotions. The cushion design sees Kip & Co’s synonymous aesthetic fused with Jessica’s personal style, sense of humour and penchant for pink and leopard print. The resulting design is fun and full of love, designed to live in the heart of the home and serve as a reminder to never be afraid to reach out to those in your life and ask: “Are you ok?”

“What we love about R U OK? Day is the simplicity of the message,” explains Alex van der Sluys, Kip & Co’s co-founder. “It doesn’t take money or a lot of effort. It’s a simple act of kindness that can provide immeasurable benefit to another person.”
