This isn’t one of those crowdsourcing scenarios. I don’t want your cash, just your inspiration! And I’d love to source that via Instagram and Twitter. Here’s the deal: I recently partnered with De’Longhi on a fun event down at Moore Park Supacenta where we gave readers free fifties makeovers (so much fun!). Two other bloggers had their own events too. Now we get the chance to win a holiday for two to Italia. One in three odds aren’t bad! I would of course take the future husband with me. If possible, I would love the trip to coincide with the Milan Furniture Fair, where I have always wanted to go!
To enter this competition, I have to submit a moodboard by Friday 10 June inspired by the Icona Vintage range, my colour palette (cream) and my blog topic (um… interiors). I would love you to send me some inspiration and the best of your entries wins the set of coffee maker, toaster and kettle (worth almost $600). Your entry can be a photo, a drawing, a painting, a word, who knows? Simply submit an image via Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #iconavintage and #interiorsaddict by midnight on 8 June to be in with a chance.

It has been a full-on year what with becoming a self-employed, full-time blogger, launching a second blog (Appliances Addict) and planning a wedding and well, who wouldn’t love to go to Italy? But I’m not going to sit here trying to convince you I need a holiday more than anyone else or that I have a particularly hard life. Let’s keep it real! I promise to bring you back some amazing content if I get to go though.

Hi Jen, Does it have to be an original image (ie. a photo of our own) or can it be an image from another source – one that we think encapsulates the theme and would be a good addition to a moodboard?

Great challenge- I found a pic I took when my husband and I were leaving Venice in a water taxi about 6 years ago and instagrammed the living day lights out of it…brought back great memories- I wish you the best of luck and hope you win! Italy is fabulous 🙂
