Rich & varied experience
While most people know me as the Interiors Addict, that’s just a fraction of it and my career as a journalist has seen me cover more topics than you’d imagine! For the five years before starting the blog, I was editor of the largest circulating business owner magazine in Australia, sold in newsagents nationally, and I took its digital reputation to new heights, establishing a strong online and social media presence. I wrote about everything relevant to SME ownership as well as my absolute favourite; writing entrepreneur profiles. In fact, it was during these inspiring interviews that the spark was ignited in me to start my own business, and a decade later, I’m thrilled to still be making a job (and jobs for other people too) out of Interiors Addict.

As a journalist and editor across newspapers, magazines and online for more than two decades, I can write quickly and confidently on a variety of topics and, perhaps more importantly, in a multitude of styles.
I’ve reported on news, crime and the courts for newspapers around the UK, been an editor at New Scotland Yard in London for the Met Police’s internal newspaper, ghost written top Australian interior designer Greg Natale’s coffee table book The Tailored Interior, proofread legal documents and children’s books, to name but a few of my varied projects.

While I love words even more than I love interiors, in the past 10 years as a sought-after public speaker and event MC, I’ve become very comfortable with in-person interviewing and drawing people’s stories and strengths out of them through being the interviewer on video, or indeed podcasts. I can create this kind of storytelling for your brand too.
