How utterly glamorous is this furniture collection designed by multi-award winning designer Greg Natale and Worlds Away?!
Launching this week, the 10-piece Greg Natale for Worlds Away collection features timeless, bold and sophisticated designs that include consoles, coffee and dining tables, รฉtagรจres and mirrors.
All finished with sleek metallic surfaces, gold leaf and nickel-plated iron tables feature heavily, complimented by marble or antique mirror tops.
Wishing to create modern pieces that give a nod to the past, Greg was particularly inspired by the striking architecture of the Colosseum and the minimalist style of fashion house Halston. โI like to work with repeat patterns, and the Colosseumโs iconic arches offered the perfect inspiration. I knew also that I wanted to create slick, streamlined pieces with a touch of glamour. A more recent reference for me is that glorious world of Studio 54 in its โ70s heyday, when a sleek, sexy yet minimalist style prevailed, embodied by the designs of fashion guru Halston, one of my perennial inspirations.”
Choosing to use materials such as glass and marble with gold-leaf finishes,ย theย collection is the epitome of luxe opulence. Partnered with the arches of the table bases, geometrics of the dining chairs and rounded frames of the armchairs, the Greg Natale for Worldโs Away collection is the perfect balance of strength and elegance.
