Popular features including the Seminar Series, Green Design Show, Atelier Avenue, Elements Bar and VIVID Emerging Designer Awards will return to create an unforgettable experience for the design industry.
This is more than an exhibition – it is the definitive destination for Australian interior design.
The prestigious Seminar Series, supported by The Design Files, will return with a stellar lineup of Australian design luminaries. 2025 keynotes include the multi-award-winning and visionary designers David Flack, Thomas Hamel and Arent & Pyke. See the full program here.
The Green Design Show returns in 2025 for its second edition. Australia’s only dedicated trade event for truly sustainable brands will once again be supported by the Green Building Council of Australia and all exhibitors will be vetted by our Official Sustainability Advisor, Circular Design Thinking. A highlight of the event will be the stand from Cultivated x Nexus Designs, which will be a journey into the heart of sustainable design and product stewardship, curated in partnership with one of Australia’s leading design studios.
Other beautiful exhibitors include McCormacks Australia, Atervinna and LyZadie Design. The Green Design Seminar Series will feature leading speakers from across the sector, including: Jeremy McLeod and Tamara Veltre (Breathe Architecture), Sasha Titchkosky (Koskela), Josh Ellis (Cultivated), Karie Soehardi (Circular Design Thinking), Angela Spillane (Studio Spillane), Taryn Cornell (Green Building Council of Australia), and John Gertsakis (Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence). See the full Green Design Seminar Series program here.
From bold creative expression to future-focused sustainability, Decor + Design and the co-located Green Design Show will champion both heritage and innovation.
The 2025 theme of Elements celebrates the essential natural forces that drive exceptional design, including Botanica, Terra, Ether and Cosmos. The entrance to the exhibition will feature the 2025 signature artwork, The Eye of the Elements, alongside
Cosmos, a celestial lighting installation from renowned Melbourne lighting designer ILANEL. It will include a selection of rigged lights including the stunning Supernova
pendant.
Inside the exhibition, the Elements Bar will be a beautifully curated meeting place for the design industry to relax and network within the exhibition.
The colour palette for the show has been inspired by the Official 2025 Decor + Design Colour Partner, Dulux Australia.
Now in their 22nd year, the VIVID Emerging Designer Awards will again showcase the best in new Australian design talent across the categories of Furniture, Object, Lighting, Concept, Colour and Student Design. Curated by Daniel Dalla Riva of Latitude Group, the prestigious competition is judged by industry heavyweights and supported by Dulux, Circa, the Authentic Design Alliance (ADA), Interiors AU and the Design Institute of Australia. The competition finalists will be on display at the beautiful VIVID stand within Decor + Design, with the awards ceremony taking place at 3pm on Wednesday 16 July.
