I never intended to be a soccer mum and thought I was safe from the sidelines until last year, when my eldest son went from zero interest in team sports and physical activity to soccer obsessed (playing, following and knowing every stat). Happens to the best of them, I’ve heard! With plans to move the boys into separate bedrooms towards the end of the year, I’ve started thinking about Seb’s, and I can guarantee you the theme (sigh) will be soccer (or football for my English friends!).
Despite being an Interiors Addict, I don’t make my kids have super aesthetic rooms they have no input it. But at the same time, I couldn’t cope with something really garish and ugly either (I’m being honest here!). Luckily it’s totally possible to meet somewhere in the middle, so I thought I’d share my soccer finds with you!

A great place to find art inspired by your son or daughter’s favourite team that’s better looking than your average poster, is Etsy! I got a Tottenham print similar to the below for Seb. I bought a digital download, had it printed via Vistaprint online and then bought an affordable frame for it. I’m still a huge fan of the simple but impactful Alphaberts framed prints though; suitable for all ages and schemes.
Olive et Oriel also have some more subtle options in artworks and wallpaper.
I hope you enjoyed this kid’s soccer bedroom inspiration for your son or daughter! I think creating kid’s rooms can be really fun; they’re so unlike any other room in your home. And it’s lovely to get your child involved in the process, even if the final look is up to Mum (or Dad)!
And while I admit I hated the thought of standing on the edge of a cold and muddy pitch watching kids run after a ball, I have to admit I’m a convert. When your child is passionate about something you just can’t help but get sucked in. And anything that keeps them off screens for a while is a winner!
