I’ve never really met a Jones & Co ceramic I didn’t love and the new Pepe collection, which is unusually monochrome for the brand, is no exception. From $18 for a small dish. Handmade in Vietnam.
The legends at Mustard have added a new colour to their range of lockers, the first in 18 months! Creamy, dreamy and decadent: meet Butter! Their 12th colour offers a new pastel with depth. “Our mellow yellow, the Butter to our Mustard, she’s a fresh take on the classic French Provincial colour,” says co-founder and creative director Becca Stern. I’m a huge fan of these lockers with two in my boys’ room (blue and green) and one in my home office (pink!)! From $229.
Freedom’s new Aero sofa range has just landed, at RRP $1,999 for the 3-seater, and it’s very good-looking! Choose from velvet, boucle, and linen coverings. Inspired by chocolate bar pockets, Aero’s design accentuates both style and comfort. Despite its modern, low back design, Aero ensures support for your back and shoulders with its sturdy backing frame. A matching ottoman can be added to give the look and feel of a chaise or do double duty as a coffee table with a tray on top. And the generous armchair would work well in smaller spaces.
Milton & King’s latest collection, The Haven Collection, in collaboration with La Semilla Casa, is now available for purchase through their website. It boasts 14 unique wallpaper designs, with a 10m roll starting at $215, and this is my personal favourite!
Mosstone is one of eight new Porcelain colours released by Caesarstone this month. Each slab of Caesarstone Porcelain is ethically produced from natural raw ingredients, including clay, feldspar and oxides. With a 12mm profile (with many designs available in a 20mm profile as well), and surface dimensions of 1600 x 3200mm, these larger slabs make the creation of sweeping expanses of joint-free surfaces a welcome reality. From $700/sqm for a 12mm profile, including basic fabrication and installation.
I’m not sure when old school dressing tables went out of fashion, but Mocka are bringing them back with the Leia Makeup Table ($279.99). Raes on Wategos recently collaborated with Sydney-based ceramic artist Eytan Messiah. As featured in its private pool, the ‘Raes Tile’ is inspired by the hotel and its rich history. Embracing traditional tile-making techniques, the small collection of tiles have been handcrafted exclusively for Raes by Eytan as part of Raes 2024 Artist in Residence program. A small number of now available to buy, framed in Tasmanian oak, at $425 each.
The bar stool is such a key piece in your kitchen design, which I like to think of as the jewellery! It’s also an easy and relatively inexpensive thing to swap out a few years down the line for a new look (selling the old ones, of course!). The Noma Rattan Bar Stool from Troffle recently caught my eye. Isn’t she lovely?! This stool ($575) combines an earthy charm with a raw finish on recycled teak timber. Made to order in 6-to-8 weeks.
