The awesome Sydney Writers’ Centre (I know it’s awesome because I’ve done a course there plus I know the founder, Valerie Khoo, and she rocks) has this really cool industry insights course. It’s called Writing about Interiors, Style and Design. Part of me hopes I don’t need this course but the other part wants to do it anyway because we could all always learn a little something.
The two-week course will teach you how to go about turning your love of interiors and style into a writing career.ย According to the website: “Maybe you’re excited by homes and interior design. Or you’re fascinated by paint finishes, lighting, colour schemes and renovation. Perhaps you have a passion for architecture and the โgreatsโ of furniture design. Or you could be a stylist or interior designerย whoโd like to write about your chosen profession for magazines, newspapers or websites.ย Thisย โIndustry Insightโ courseย is ideal for you if you have a love of all things home-related and want to translate that enthusiasm into words.”

If I LoVe it……I LoVe it!
I don’t care much what everyone else is doing because they aren’t doing it the same way I am.
I guess it depends what mix of things you have. That makes your space individual anyway!
Happy Easter……
