Qubis Haus is a dual purpose coffee table/dolls house. Could this solve the problem of clearing toys OFF the coffee table because they’re already IN it?!
The coffee table transforms into a dolls house with the simple addition of sliding panels made from wood and perspex, enabling the โdesignerโ to create different room layouts. Designer Amy Whitworth says: โThe table is made in solid birch plywood and has clean modern lines, making it a beautiful piece of living room furniture as well as a centre for children to play. The table can live permanently in the living room so the children can play with it whenever they want.
โThey donโt have to put it away and you donโt have to put up with it when grown ups want the room again, just slide out the walls. And once the children have grown up it remains a modern table with happy memories, if they/you do ever stop playing with it!โ
To tie in with the modern living, the grooves for the sliding walls also hold an iPad, giving the toys in-house entertainment and creating a safe place for your child to play with or watch their iPad.
Qubis Haus is currently available as an โSโ coffee table, โSโ Side Table and a โCโ Side Table. It’s made in the UK but available to be shipped to Australia, with more products having been sold to overseas buyers than UK ones since its launch.
Tables start from 330GBP (approx. $480)ย Find out more at Qubis Design.

This is an awesome idea Jen! Love it! We don’t have a huge amount of space, and I like the kids toys being in our living room so would be perfect for us! Fi xx
