You can never have too many cushions or candles in my book. And just when I thought I’d seen it all when it came to candles, this lovely one arrived in the mail from Voyager last week.
Isn’t the double-walled design great? Very simple and elegant. And can you see the name of the scent through the glass on the bottom?
These candles are made in Melbourne from ethically sourced soy, coconut and beeswax and they have a very clean (no sooty marks, I hate that!) burn. The five candles are inspired by and named after gardens ex-model Kerrie Golias encountered on her travels over the years. “For me, gardens are mysterious, intriguing places in which to take sanctuary and awaken emotions and memories. A beautiful perfumed candle can also stir these ‘voyager moments’ through the potent connection between olfaction, memory and imagination,” she says.
Housed in distinctive and reusabale double-walled glasses which create a stunning ‘floating’ effect, they are hand poured and non-toxic with a burn time of more than 60 hours.
Voyager Candles are available to buy online at Down that Little Lane.
