Freedom have done good with their latest range of tableware for Summer.
It really does make it more fun to set the table or have friends over when you have something a little more special than plain white plates (yes, like me, but I’m hoping to recitfy that thanks to my wedding registry, old school style).ย โWhite crockery will always have a place in the home, but our new collection of tabletop brings life to the dinner table. It bursts with colour and personality to make mealtime fun. With a nod to the 50s when bright colour shook up interiors, itโs playful , stylish and affordable,โ said homewares buyer Vanessa Rothery.
The Sorrento range (in seafoam, above) is my personal favourite. Organic shapes shine in knocked-back hues of Seafoam, Nougat and Duck Egg, Freedom say: “Think Isabella Rossellini meets Helena Christensen.”
Jett (below) has aย matte exterior and a high gloss interior and is available in Midnight Blue, Pomegranate (pictured), Stone and Canary. With retro-esque shapes, this is not your Nannaโs dinnerware – the Jetsons could be as comfortable using this collection as Betty Draper.
If you’re a pattern person, mix and match theย Impressions collection. Be brave and layer up your colours or work it back with plain cream pieces.
Prices start at $3.95.ย ย Available in all stores and online now.

Very pretty but the Sorrento range is a complete knockoff off the Ecology ‘Organic’ dinner range (which is beautifully designed and eco-produced). How do they get away with that?
