Media personality and fashion/lifestyle blogger Rebecca Judd returns this month with a new collection for Adairs, just in time for summer. Launched under the retailer’s Home Republic brand, the range is a bright, sunny mix of bold prints, colour and some outdoor lovely pieces too. “I was definitely channeling summer vibes when I designed this range. Think bright sunny, happy colours and bold prints in linear styles. I was also inspired by my new favourite material of the moment – terrazzo,” says Rebecca.
“Think summer holidays, sipping pina coladas, bright coloured bathing boxes and shimmering sunsets across the bay. Check out the ‘Palm Cove’ quilt cover from my range and it pretty much sums this up!” says Rebecca of the vibrant colour palette.
While the Rebecca Judd Loves Home Republic ranges have been in production for a while now, this season sees the addition of a range of outdoor cushions and towels too. “I really wanted to create something perfect to style outdoor spaces with, but also pieces that would look just as good indoors. I love the new outdoor pieces and I designed them with my own outdoor area in mind. I feel my audience follow me because they like my personal style so if I design with my own home in mind it translates to them,” says Rebecca of the round velour towels and ‘Cancun’ cushions
“The outdoor cushions are made with a UV protected, outdoor material and are reversible meaning, just like my bedding range, you get two designs in the one piece. I’ve found it really hard to find nice outdoor cushions in the past so I made it my mission to create the perfect ones to suit any outdoor area as we had into the exciting outdoor summer entertaining period,” says Rebecca.
The limited-edition range also includes four reversible bed linen designs, as well as a complementary range of soft furnishings. “My range has always been about affordable yet contemporary and fashion forward design and we achieve this by creating fully reversible quilt covers so our customers get two complementary yet different designs for the price of one,” says Rebecca.
“The bedlinen was designed around the outdoor range with the idea of bringing that outdoor holiday summer vibe into the bedroom. Style and quality to me is really important, especially in the interior and outdoor living spaces. This collection is heavily focused on quality fabrics and finishes,” says Rebecca.
