Pineapples are everywhere in homewares at the moment: lamp bases, fabric prints, you name it. I have my eye on this polyresin ornament from Escape To Paradise ($99). It’s big enough (63cm high) to make a real statement. There’s a white version too but I’m currently a little bit obsessed with everything metallic. I don’t know about you but I think the pineapple is one of the coolest shapes nature ever made. It’s right up there with the rose!

I have this gorgeous silver pineapple, its takes pride of place on my dining table. I have had to have a rethink with regards to decorating. We went through the country period. My husband made our beautiful cypress dining table, entertainment unit and coffee table. I am over this stage, however I wouldn’t ever part with them. So, I have decided to encompass a Carribean theme. Look forward to your future posts.
