DIY stationery doyenne Cristina Re returns this month with a limited edition high tea collection titled “To Paris with Love” and it’s embellished with luxurious 24-carat gold.
Chic, hand-drawn fashion illustrations adorn the range of teacups and saucers, mugs, side plates and platters making them a great gift for fashion lovers.
While her career started off as a DIY stationery merchant, Cristina’s recent work has seen her move into the designer tea ware market and she even has a store in China.
“The Chengdu store features the latest in high end architecture and beautiful interior design. I wanted to create a luxurious environment where guests could enjoy high tea whilst viewing and sampling the recent tea ware collections,” says Cristina who is planning on expanding her empire in 2016 with additional international stores.
The designer has also collaborated with the Sofitel Sydney and the Grand Hyatt Melbourne – high tea fans can now eat and drink from Cristina’s signature high tea collection every afternoon at the hotels.
