That was exactly my reaction! I was looking for lamps for my boys room and loved these at first but on second look thought they were a bit too ‘shiny’ and plastic.
best way to describe them!! I think in an actual room the hate feeling might dispel, it would make you look twice just to make sure you really were looking at a tipped over paint can on someone’s bedside or lamp table. very cool

It comes in black, white, orange and red and would work really well with mid-century modern, modern or vintage rooms I think – as well as a nursery or kids room!
I like the bird too, Deanne, apart from the fact it looks a bit like a rip off of an Eames bird, don’t you think?
