While the new Lightly range features some gorgeous shapes and textures, it’s the sumptuous mix of terracotta ceramics and brass that really caught our eye. Inspired by the unlikely pairing of Palm Springs and traditional spices, the collection titled ‘Cinnamon’ features 35 new items across table top, lighting, dining and living.
“Past seasons have been more focused on materials. This season is really about colour, it’s grounded in functionality and inspired by the practicality of mid-century Australian makers,” says Lightly designer and director Cindy-Lee Davies.
The new range features a gorgeous selection of vessels in earthy, tonal hues alongside small bowls and trays and classic planters made from powder-coated spun metal.
Already well known for their handmade solid brass pieces, the new table top range expands on this offering – and just in time for the warmer weather when entertaining ramps up. We love the matte finish and classic shapes in the range that includes salad servers, a nut cracker and stationery items among many other things. It’s hard to choose a fave!
The range also features playful lighting pieces and a furniture line-up that includes tables with brass accents and the new ‘Pinocchio’ light which is available as a pendant, floor and table lamp.
“We’ve stayed true to our eleven-year history of innovative materials, considered design and partnerships with small-scale makers around the world,” says Cindy.
